The Game -- L.A.X. -- HOUSE OF PAIN
LYRICS:
Catch me if you can I'm in those old school Barkley's
Back to the fence, puffin on that Bob Marley
Flow like arregano, nigga you already know
My competition stiffer than Ronald Regan, let it go
Befo' you be a motherfuckin vegetable
You scrap niggas too animated like the Incredibles
Let this beef go around like the 26th
It's young Game of flame, welcome to the House of Pain
Nigga what about The Game?
Keep on playin boy, I'll hop out this fuckin Range
Look I ain't even ask for his fuckin chain
But he took it off like Vanessa-Del-Rio
Now I'm on my way to Rio
After I see my P.O.
She cool, she a Leo
She ain't trippin' off the weed smoke
So I'ma blow it like the Patriots
And throw my dub up
Cause Dr. Dre made me rich
(Chorus) (Game, Dr. Dre & Traci Nelson)
Where you from? (California)
What city? (Compton)
What you drive? (Impala)
What you smokin' on? (Chronic)
What you drinkin' on? (Patron)
What you sittin' on? (The throne)
Relax, make yourself at home
(Traci Nelson)
Welcome to Compton
Welcome to Compton
Welcome to Compton
Welcome to Compton
I wrote the block off, I talk that shit
Size 12 Bo Jacksons cause I walk that shit
There on Compton Blvd that's where I walk my pits
Biggie and Tupac and they bark like this (dogs barking)
As I spark my splif
I see the coroner puttin' chalk around the snitch
We be shootin like free throws, flying them desert Eagles
Sell dope to the Po' while we eatin' chilli Freetos
From a gang banger to a CEO
Everything I do is big like the nigga Ceaser-Leo
Won't stop till I'm dead
Ain't gotta watch for the Feds
They ain't watchin me so here's a dome shot to the head
As I take a Patron shot to the head
And reminise about the shit the D.O.C. said
"Get money, get cars, get mine, get yours,
And keep your head up, like the Lambo doors"
(Chorus) (Game, Dr. Dre & Traci Nelson)
Where you from? (California)
What city? (Compton)
What you drive? (Impala)
What you smokin' on? (Chronic)
What you drinkin' on? (Patron)
What you sittin' on? (The throne)
Relax, make yourself at home
(Traci Nelson)

Guess it's time to break the number 9 Jordan's in
Make a nigga mad when they been trying ta' floor the Benz
I'm doin 160 in the fast lane
Scott Storch in his Bugatti couldn't pass Game
I got it made like my last name
I'm gone just like my Aftermath Chain
Don't make me take you back to '96
Leanin' on that Dotson on the corner eatin catfish
The Game, da-da-da Game spit 'dat shit
I'm controversial like the Afro pic with the black fist
Just ask the rapper that had to catch my last diss
I'm reckless and I ain't never crash whips
My pops wasn't around so this bastard
Bleed California from the cradle to the casket
And I won't stop ridin' for my coast
Niggas keep talkin 'bout my bread, we gonna make toast
(Chorus) (Game, Dr. Dre & Traci Nelson)
Where you from? (California)

They tore me down They threw me out They shot my mouth They enslaved my mind They blocked my way Holding me back with Their stupid game... Hand on trigger Phantom face Don't trust no one Always on the run Eyes all over Never safe Virus like Merciless I left the row Erased myself Designed my plan Now I revolt I just say no I do reject And don't let it go... I serve the revolution In a different way My thoughts are radical And I don't hesitate to slay My way is fast I hit and run Won't leave no trace I'm a sniper The signs I set Are painted In deepest red...

Steve Nawojczyk, talks about his experiences in working with gang kids, and how he started learning about their "war" in his job as a coroner. If you've never seen the video "bangin in little rock" and you are interested in getting a better understanding of how the lifestyle can be, find a copy. I think they are available at many video stores now. I've talked with Steve a few times and his heart seems to be in the right place. What he is doing, he doesn't have to do. He just does it because its needed and its the right thing to do.

In this chapter it will be seen that Coroner John Eisele swore that bite mark expert Dr. Norman Sperber was called to the autopsy of Susan Denise Taylor. While Dr. Sperber says he was merely shown one (poor) photo of the bite bruise by Detective Robert Wick (three years after the body had been cremated.) "two or three" teeth suddenly grow to "five" teeth that are "consisitent" with Cheri's teeth. Two witnesses who saw bruises on Susan's arms the week of the murder were not questioned about that at Cheri's trial. Dr. Sperber initially said Cheri was at the "low end" of his scale, but later news articles stated he said that the bite mark "most likely" came from Dale.

The Enigmatic Pianist The night had its quiet regrets while the moon permeated the dark moment. Suddenly I heard great piano music coming from a well-manicured mansion. I was then an undergraduate in college and I didn't know much about classical music. My living quarters were dismal compared to that of the enigmatic pianist. The pianist played in absolute perfection amidst his darkness. A poorly lit and empty lot separated my modest apartment from his Victorian-style mansion a short distance away. The hollow space between the two buildings allowed the intriguing music to echo and dominate the air. The pianist played forcefully and deliberately delivering rhythmic and melodic tones that resonated in some labyrinth within. As I stared into his dark and solemn house, the music brought me into its realm. Life only came to be so whenever he played the piano. As he played, the moon's rays used to light up his silhouette, which appeared formidable. Just as I, the moon clamored to hear the intonations. The pianist played at very specific times just before eight. One night as I listened to his music, my roommate and his friends disturbed the experience with obtrusive noise. That night, no sooner were my requests for silence heeded than the music stopped. Though back then classical music was not my forte, I felt that what the pianist played in such entrancing way had to be classical. To hear the pianist, I had to often strain my ear in order to filter out unwanted noises emanating from nearby partying college students. The music would begin with a deliberate pounding of perfect keys and gracefully march as to enchant love from its slippery ways. At time, the music would clamor desperately into an agitated pandemonium suggesting that death was just a thought away. The resumption of rhythmic striking of piano keys used to bring the musical chaos to order. I desperately wanted to meet this pianist who played so well amidst the glittering city lights. Was it fear that kept me from just walking up to this towering house and knocking on his door? Was it that I might've felt insignificant in his presence? To no avail, I reduced myself to an observer who simply stared at just greatness before me. The cryptic relationship between the enigmatic pianist and me journeyed into my subconscious. One night I dreamed that my defiant spirit had left my body to seek out the pianist on its own. My rebellious spirit soared into the sky and swooped toward the pianist window only to find that the music had ceased and the musician had vanished into another room. My spirit peered through the window and saw an inviting grand piano in solitude mirroring the moon. Defeated, my spirit retreated back into my perspiring body as it had waited restlessly. The pianist ushered me into an intensive musical journey and I found unimaginable treasures like Camille Saint-Saens' Organ Symphony No. 3, Joaquín Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez, Heinrich Schutz's Musiklische Exequien and Edvard Grieg's immortal Concerto in A Minor. One night, the pianist played something that was truly ill boding. It caused me great despair. It was Chopin's funeral march. The next day, I saw the pianist being taken away in a wrapped body bag by the coroner. He died as he lived, alone. The music he played that I so love today is Rachmaninoff's Prelude in C Sharp Minor. With regrets, I grieved the pianist's demise. A friend that gave me so much yet I never had the courage to simply try to meet. After death, how do you call a loved one? © 2008 Luis Lomeli, M.D./Beta Thread lightly through this Eden we call mother earth.

Pale Sister 04:55 7. About Life 05:18 8. I Want You (She's So Heavy) (The Beatles cover) 07:15 Total playing time 47:30 Coroner was a Swiss thrash metal/progressive metal band from Zurich. They garnered relatively little attention outside of Europe. They combined elements of thrash, progressive rock, jazz, and industrial metal with suitably gruff vocals that have put them at times in a death metal camp. They did not completely fall into any of those categories but integrated influences from them while some defined their style. With their increasingly complex style of progressive rock-infused thrash, they are often labeled as "the Rush of thrash metal" by music critics. Coroner's sound then progressed and the production became more refined, resulting in the more progressive albums such as; No More Color, Mental Vortex and Grin. The Swiss thrash trio Coroner were originally roadcrew for Celtic Frost. They eventually formed their own group, recording their demo Death Cult in 1986 with Tom G. Warrior of Celtic Frost on vocals. Their first full-length album R.I.P., released in 1987, featured bass player Ron Broder on vocals and he assumed the role for the rest of the group's existence. The group released several albums through 1993, ending with a greatest hits collection, Coroner, in 1995. Lack of media exposure brought this band to disbanding in 1994 ? and eventually to their farewell tour consequent to their self-titled album. In March 2005, talks of a reunion were in the works, but later retracted. The main reason was that neither Marky, Ron, nor Tommy had the time it would require to do this properly, and also that neither of them liked to, quote, "reheat things, except spaghetti sauce." Musically, Coroner evolved from a speed metal band with gothic and classical overtones like Celtic Frost and Bathory into a technical-based band. Coroner's first album, R.I.P., was based on neo-classical lines and was technical and classically influenced. The second album, Punishment for Decadence, saw a progression into a more complex sound with a unison of bass and guitar. Tempo changes interspersed mid-paced sections and the odd slow passage between the faster passages started to emerge. Lyrically, Coroner began to write about themes such as politics and personal introspection. The production of No More Color by Pete Hinton and the band, was an improvement. Moreover, Coroner's music became more technical on No More Color as the guitar work was characterized by intricate modes and arpeggios, solo work that was chromatically colorful, as well as the de rigueur crunchy chords and speed runs; the drumming went beyond the 4/4 time of Coroner's two previous albums to incorporate odd time signatures which became their trademark. The bass player is also worth a mention as having an advanced three-finger technique which enables him to double the rhythm line as well as perform intricate riffs. Prime examples of this are the opener "Die By My Hand" with its vicious riffing and the harmonic minor inspired riff in the middle of "Mistress of Deception". There is a dark mood on this album that could be classified as death metal yet spans many influences from other metal genres. The closer "Last Entertainment" is a prescient take on TV. Mental Vortex improved over No More Color. Continuing with the previous album's technical formula, the speed metal formula was re-integrated into Coroner's sound on this album but with a tone that made it sound not at all like R.I.P. or Punishment for Decadence. There were slower songs but none of the songs on Mental Vortex stayed the same speed for very long. The songs on Mental Vortex ranged from four to eight minutes. Overall, the tone was a shift from the thrash-tech of No More Color which showed them gravitating towards their opus Grin. Grin saw a much more industrial sound and was a natural progression from Mental Vortex but was different from most of their previous material. It involved a much more reflective guitar riff and underlying bass line. It was slower and more refined in its metal sensibility. Brooding guitar over Royce's bass produced an almost hypnotic trance-like sound on some tracks. Their eponymous album, Coroner, was a greatest hits compilation which also contained some unreleased material. DISCLAIMER: Standard disclaimers apply.
